Kayaking, Mountain Biking, and Offroading are for those Tri-things.
At the parking lot of Niagara fall, I found one of team members from Pensylvania with all the gears attached on top and in the back of the jeep. Sea Kayak, two bikes.. with front winch.. more than ready to go..
I really like to go for offroading especially for hardcore ones like rock crawing, fording, jumping etc.. But this triathlon is really far superior than traditional machine-only four wheeling .. it is much more environmentally favorable and I have chance to get physical exercise.. lot more fun!!
Hopefully I could try next year..
오프로드 삼종경기..지프와 카약, 그리고 산악 자전거로 이루어 진
세가지 스포츠를 말한다.
사실 일종의 Extreme Sport의 일종으로
미국에서 동호회를 중심으로 활동 중이다.
호수의 레져 활동의 꿈이 바로 지프에 카약 실고 바이크 실고
길 떠나는 것인데..
나이아가라 주차장에서 만난 이놈은
펜실바니아에서 건너 온 놈이다.
나이아가라의 경관이 미국에서 보다
카나다에서가 압권이기 때문에
다들 미국에서 다리를 건너
엄청난 자동차의 행렬이 카나다로
꼬리에 꼬리를 물고 들어온다.
그 녀석들 중에 한 녀석이었던 것이다.
카약도 멋지고 늘씬한 Ocean Kayak 이고
바이크도 두 대나 달려 있었다.
앞 범퍼에 조그만 윈치도 달려있고..
사실 람보기니나 페라리 하나두 안 부러운데
이 지프들만 보면 정말 다시 가지고 싶은 마음이 굴뚝같다.
