Stripes of Colors of the wing tip show traditional set of colors of Korea.
Korean people used to wear traditioal clothing with the colors on sleeves or collars for national holidays or festivals..
Nice bright colours - like the simplicity of just straight lines. Question: are the colours repeated to indicate a split country or am I stretching this idea too far?
The stripes has no such meaning like Stars and Stripes for the States. For Korea the different colors are purely for aethetic accent only. Just like rainbow, Koreans like the combination of different colors.
