a breakfast at Chris, Restaurant Detroit Danforth Str. Toronto Aug 27 2009

After golfing with Jim and Chris, I went Chris' Detroit for breakfast and I liked to have Hamburger Steak with two sunny side ups & brown bread together with fresh coffee just as usual. Restaurant Detroit is one of the oldest & most famous restaurant in the Greek street of Danforth.

In here I taste the hamburger steak exactly same with the one I used to have in my childhood... It's a nostalgia of those good & happy old days in which I enjoy much to reflect.

Brandenburg No.3 is always good for a good breakfast I bet.. not only for luxury dinning with service of elegance but with even street food whichever good & fresh..

지미와 크리스와의 이른 아침 골프를 끝내고 크리스가 운영하는 디트로이트 식당에 아침을 먹으러 갔다.
디트로이트에서의 아침 식사로 항상 시키는 햄버거 스테이크와 노른자가 터지지 않은 달걀 후라이 두개, 갈색빵 두 조각..을 신선한 커피와 함께 먹었다.

이곳에서의 햄버거 스테이크는 어릴적 가끔 먹었던 햄버거 스테이크 맛에 대한 향수가 서려 있다.
그저 행복하기만 했던 어린 시절 맛에 대한 향수가 있어 음식을 먹으면서도 더 즐거울 수가 있다.

바흐의 브란덴브르그 3번은 좋은 아침 식사때 확실히 잘 어울린다.
굳이 좋은 서비스의 궁중 요리가 아니더라도 신선하고 맛있는 음식이라면 어떤 거리 음식과도.. ^,~

I find myself feel more attractive to those old day technologies as I am getting old..
such as steam engine, combustion engine, gears,springs, wooden wheels, wheel spokes..etc..

디트로이트에서 출발해 온타리오 주 런던을 막 지나던 즈음,
갑자기 엄청난 눈을 동반한 눈 폭풍이 몰아 쳤는데..

따뜻한 차 안에서 홀로 수백킬로의 여정을 느긋하게 즐기며 드라이브 해 가던 나의 심상은
비발디의 너무나 아름다운 선율.. 겨울의 2악장.. 바로 그것 이었다.

이렇게 따스하고 달콤한 기분에 사로 잡혀 빠져 나올 수 있었음에
다시 한번 감사하게 된다..

It was a decent start at the Irish Pub, Dora Keogh..

with just a couple of glasses of beers for me and Scotch for Jim.

Then we went to Detroit where our friend Chris was running the place..

And I started to try Jinns & Scotch as well as beers.

The intoxication process was quite fast & stunningly effective.. :p

Finally we joined again at the Pub of Auld Spot

and enjoyed dishes of natural oysters with another series of drinks.. drinks and more drinks.. 

Sharing year end spirit with lovely ladies sitting beside us..

I like the fresh natural oysters in Auld Spot
with lemon drops and hot sauce of Tabasco on it..
